I love learning new things and constantly expanding my skill set. But you know what's even better? Sharing that knowledge with others!
As a designer, my ultimate mission is to help budding designers and tech enthusiasts unleash their full potential and level up their game.

I believe design thinking is a game-changer. It can drive impactful change in Nigeria and beyond! The more people who embrace this mindset, the better. This belief fuels my dedication to mentoring upcoming designers, helping them to think creatively and make a real difference.

From Physical Therapy to Design

My transition from physical therapy to design was a natural evolution. It was driven by my passion for improving lives and my curiosity about enhancing digital products. This led me to UX/UI design, where user-centered design creates functional, effective, and engaging experiences.

My physical therapy background equipped me with skills in assessing needs and creating/refining personalized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals, which translated seamlessly into designing for users. While the two fields may seem different, the principles of user-centered design, empathy, attention to detail, and iterative testing are fundamental to both.

Combining my expertise in physical therapy with my love for design, I bring unique insights to every project, committed to creating user experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and impactful. Excited to make a difference in the UI/UX design world, I believe my diverse skill set makes me a valuable addition to any team.

Voyaging through Creativity and Growth

December 2020
After the COVID-19 lockdown, I started my journey by diving into a free Udemy course. As my passion grew, I jumped into UI/UX Design bootcamps with Zuri and later joined forces with KodeCamp to continue expanding my skills.
  • Fresh in the industry, I quickly realized the power of putting users at the center of my designs.
  • I learned the ropes of user research and usability testing, using them to fine-tune my creations.
March 2022
Since I couldn't get enough of this awesome new field, I decided to sign up for an intermediate-level design bootcamp. Had to keep the momentum going and take my skills to the next level!
  • Here, I had the chance to collaborate closely with fellow tech enthusiasts like product managers and engineers in designing over 90 screens of a fintech mobile app.
  • It was exciting to share our design solutions and concepts with stakeholders, where I discovered I have a knack for presentations.

I was selected for the KodeHauz internship; a 6-month internship program where I led a team of UI/UX design interns.
  • Taking the lead, my team and I successfully designed more than 250 responsive screens for the KodeCamp learning management system.
  • We followed agile methodologies and completed the design phase 9 days ahead of the deadline. Now, it is being used in-house by over 300 users.
February 2023
Got my first design role at ThePush Consulting, where I conjured magic.
  • Within my first 3 months, I designed 10+ responsive websites for diverse clients across industries, from local businesses to national nonprofits, generating over $8,000 in revenue.

Volunteered as a mentor for KodeCamp 2.0 Bootcamp, lighting up the path for future designers!
  • I served part-time as a mentor, a transformative experience where I guided over 100 aspiring UI/UX designers in beginning their journey towards mastering the craft.
  • It was incredibly fulfilling to contribute to the very bootcamp that nurtured my skills, giving back with the expertise they imparted to me.

Stepping into the vibrant atmosphere of Digisplash marked a pivotal moment in my design journey.
  • I spearheaded the redesign of mcom telecom company's website, boosting brand recognition by 15% and driving over 9,200 unique website visits within just 8 weeks of launch.
  • Also, my dedication to enhancing user experiences extended to conducting a UX audit for Custodian Insurance.
  • This resulted in a 40% reduction in customer processing time by optimizing engagement forms for efficiency and converting them from physical to web formats.
